Water: A Lifeline for Survival
At Aljaariyah Welfare Foundation, we strive to make a difference in the lives of those who struggle to access clean water. Water is a fundamental necessity for all living beings, and yet, many people around the world face immense difficulties in obtaining this basic resource. We understand the challenges faced by communities in Africa and other parts of the world, and we put our efforts to provide clean water through well-digging projects and water tank distributions.
The Significance of Water:
Water is not only vital for sustaining life, but it also plays a crucial role in numerous aspects of our existence. It hydrates our bodies, supports agricultural activities, ensures sanitation and hygiene, and fosters economic development. The Qur’an emphasizes the significance of water as a divine blessing and symbol of life, with verses highlighting its purification properties and nurturing qualities.

Aljaariyah Welfare Foundation’s Water Projects:
At Aljaariyah Welfare Foundation, we have witnessed thirst and the struggles faced by communities deprived of clean water. As part of our efforts, we have successfully dug over 60 deep water wells in remote areas of Kenya and Tanzania, where clean water sources were scarce. These wells provide sustainable access to safe and clean water for drinking, cooking, and irrigation, bringing about positive transformation in these communities.
Additionally, we have distributed water tanks in areas impacted by drought seasons, offering immediate relief to those affected. This intervention ensures that even during dry periods, families have access to water for their daily needs. In war-stricken countries like Yemen, where the water infrastructure has been severely disrupted, our water tank distributions have become a lifeline for many.
