Fatma Gleason
Fatma Gleason is a community advocate. With Allah’s blessings, she continues to step into serving communities in need, both locally and abroad. Alhumdulilah, she always found herself in roles to help others and the responsibilities that came with it.
She is also, a co-founder of Al-Jaariyah Welfare Foundation. Her desire is to serve the Muslim Ummah in a way pleasing to Allah SWT and following the principle of honesty and integrity shown to us by our Messenger Muhammad SAW. Through her various earlier projects, she was blessed with an invitation to visit East Africa. Meeting front line helpers and the people they served lead her to seek Allah’s help in supporting efforts on the ground for Aljaariyah Welfare Foundation.
Through this blessed step and Allah’s guidance, she was able to multiply the resources available to those in need and the people on the front lines. Using her interpersonal skills and her vision for creatively getting communities to self-sufficiency and stability, she has created a network of trusting donors, experienced advisors, and a dedicated team of volunteers to do the ground work. She continues to strategize the donations and efforts in innovative ways to gain Allah’s favor and mercy.
